Without our corporate funders, New Bethany Ministries wouldn’t be able to offer the support our clients deserve every day. Corporate partners strengthen our ability to sustain our community and keep our doors open for those in need of a fresh meal from the Mollard Hospitality Center, eviction prevention from the Housing Assistance office, or a room in our Transitional Housing Program while between residencies.

New Bethany is pleased to announce grant awards from three local companies that will directly benefit the Mollard Hospitality Center. The grants help fund services – including daily meals, showers, job search assistance, case management, mail address, laundry services, and more – that alleviate food insecurity and lead individuals and families to self-sufficiency.

The following organizations are core corporate partners:

  • The PPL Foundation generously gifted New Bethany $4,000. The organization has been a corporate partner since 2001, and we are honored that its goal of achieving a safe and sustainable community aligns with our mission to offer hope and support to people who experience poverty, hunger, and homelessness.
  • Just Born Quality Confections has diligently donated and awarded grants to New Bethany for more than 20 years and was instrumental in funding the Choice Food Pantry’s remote services.  We recently received $5,000 in addition to candy donations for prizes and clients.
  • Since at least 1998, Air Products has financially supported New Bethany. This year, we were granted $7,500. Air Products is a key Souper Day sponsor, as well, and their impact is seen throughout the Lehigh Valley.

“These grants help New Bethany offer the tools and assistance clients need to work towards independence. None of our successes would be possible without the financial backing of corporate partners and individual donations,” said Emily Parker, Development Director of New Bethany Ministries. “New Bethany is extremely thankful for their continuous generosity, and we cannot wait to see what we accomplish together.”
